Climate
Niagara Falls enjoys a four-season climate. It is approximately the same distance from the equator as Seattle, Chicago, Detroit and Boston. Average temperatures in September are between 11 and 22^o C (52 and 71^o F) and the Falls are spectacular no matter what the weather.

Currency Exchange
US currency is widely accepted in Canada, however rates of exchange vary from establishment to establishment. As there are no laws enforcing the rate of exchange on foreign currency, it is wise to change your money at a bank or a reputable currency exchange. Banks are generally open 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Visit www.bankofcanada.ca to calculate the value of your currency against the Canadian dollar.

From Toronto
Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) to Niagara Falls, Canada.
Take Hwy 420 (Exit 30) and follow to Stanley Avenue.
Turn right onto Stanley Avenue and follow to Murray Street.
Turn left onto Murray Street, continue one block and turn right on Fallsview Boulevard.
Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort is located at 6380 Fallsview Boulevard.

From the U.S.
Cross at the Peace Bridge from the I-90. If you are traveling East from Erie Pennsylvania to Buffalo New York, merge onto New York State Thruway I-90 North via exit number 53 towards Downtown Buffalo/Canada. Follow signs to the Peace Bridge. The border crossing at the Peace Bridge exits onto the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW). Follow the QEW to Niagara Falls, Canada.
Take McLeod Road exit (Exit 27), turn right and follow to Stanley Avenue.
Turn left onto Stanley Avenue and follow to Dunn Street.
Turn right onto Dunn Street, continue one block and turn left onto Fallsview Boulevard.
Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort is located at 6380 Fallsview Boulevard.

Entry into Canada
By June 1, 2009, anyone, including U.S. citizens, entering or re-entering the United States by land and sea will need to have a passport or other appropriate secure document. Visitors from countries other than the United States must have a valid passport and a visa may be required. Contact the Canada Customs Services at 1-800-461-9999 or check the Canada Border Services Agency website.

Air Transportation
Niagara Falls, Ontario is served by Pearson International Airport in Toronto and Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York State. Please see the Ground Transportation section of this page for information on shuttle service from these airports to the conference venue.
